Signwave US parent company tops franchise awards
Fastsigns, the US parent company of Signwave Australia, has come first in its category in a US top 500 franchises award.

The US parent company of Australian signage operation Signwave has been ranked the number one franchise opportunity in its category in Entreprenuer magazine’s Franchise 500 for the third consecutive year.

Overall Fastsigns was ranked 95 in the list and was the only sign, graphics and visual communications franchise to make it into the top 100.

"We're honoured to once again be recognised as the leader in our category for the third year in a row. This accomplishment is a testament to the strength of the brand, our franchisees, support team, and the Fastsigns franchise opportunity," says Catherine Monson, chief executive officer of Fastsigns International

"Fastsigns achieved exceptional results in 2018, another record year for the company, including the signing of 52 franchise agreements as well as a Master Franchise Agreements to expand the brand to Spain, the Balearic Islands, and Gibraltar and a master franchise agreement for Chile. We're positioned to continue our aggressive worldwide growth this year."

In Australia Signwave has gone from strength to strength reporting an 18 per cent jump in year to date sales across its 700 outlets last month.

At the time Signwave Australia general manager Linda Sultmann said it was very satisfying to see the group continue to own the mid-tier market space.

“Every year, we run an award for the centres to showcase their projects, and every year the projects get bigger and more amazing.  It is satisfying to see the group continuing to really own the mid-tier to corporate market space and excel in servicing this market’s needs.”

Signwave has two new centres opening in Perth and Adelaide and has plans for another opening in Brisbane.

“We want people to succeed in our network,” Sultmann says.

“We are less about franchising and all about small business ownership success.
